Ducie Dress and n Red and Blue Check
Named after Ducie Street in Manchester's Northern Quarter where our pieces are made.
Overlooking the canal Ducie Street Warehouse stands 7 storeys high with arched entryways and stone dressings (quoins) around its edges. Those stone dressings inspired the hand-gathered frills around the arms of our Ducie Dress.
The Ducie Dress is an easy throw-over dress, worn over long sleeves when it's cold then as is for some breeze under the arms when it gets a bit warmer. this iteration is made from a deadstock cotton.
Oversized in the body, and lots of movement in the skirt.
Generous inseam pockets, secured at the waist so no sagging from filled pockets distorting the shape.
